Littlemoss High School for Boys                   

Our school is very strict if you are naughty.            

If you forget your homework you "get your head bitten off" (Told off) by the teachers.

Some teachers have a good sense of humour!

Our favourite teacher is Mr Purse. He is a Music teacher

 

 

The school day starts at 9am and finishes at 3.15pm

                                                              

          

                           

Our School dinners are very nice. We have special themed weeks. For example, healthy food week.

                                                      

A teacher from our school ate cat food to raise money for the Tsunami Appeal!

 

We have after school clubs. For example football and basketball.

                                                          

There are about 600 boys aged 11 to 16  at our school.

North Manchester High School for Girls

 

Our school is for girls aged 11-18 years.

 

We start at 8.40am and finish at 3pm.

 

Lunch is at 11 until 11.30 and then we have a break at 1.30 - 2.00pm.There is a salad bar and a bistro There are vending machines around the school.

                                     

 

 

The school has its own tennis courts.

 

                                                            

 

We get Merits for good work.

 

            

 

Children aged 16 - 18 are in the 6th Form.

 

There are 2 Heads of Year for each year. We are in Year 7. Our Heads of Years are called Miss Wilkinson and Miss McSkimming.

 

 

                      

Our headteacher is called Miss Catteral. We have form tutors who take the register each day.

 

Our school is going for the award "Healthy Schools Gold".

 

              

 

We have a dance and drama studio.

                                                  

 

We have 3 Gyms! They are called Brookside, Shackcliffe and the Sports Hall.

                             

 

We have athletics after school.

 

 

Wright Robinson Sports College

 

Our school is a mixed specialist sports college with 1647 pupils aged 11-16.

 

                                                           

The school holds the Sportsmark Gold award with distinction, the FA Charter Mark and the Healthy School award.

 

                         

 

Wright Robinson got involved in the PESS (Physical Education and School Sport) because it was keen to bring about school improvement by raising pupils’ self-esteem through PE and school sport.

 

Wright Robinson Sports College is in an Education Action Zone, a Health Action Zone and a Sports Action Zone. It aims to provide an academically and physically challenging high-quality education within a caring, safe and stimulating environment.
